The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 437 of Oshkosh will be having their annual POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony on 18 September 2021 at 1pm at the South Park War Memorial on the corner of Ohio and 11th Ave.

This event is to honor all of the members of the Armed Forces that served our country that are still listed as Prisoners of War or Missing in Action from all wars.

Our speaker this year is Rodney Helgeson Sr., who served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He is the past Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Wisconsin State Commander, 2013 - 2014 and past Wisconsin State Commander for the Military Order of the Purple Heart 2015 -16. Helgeson also was on the DAV National POW/MIA Committee from 2020 -2021.
