Mental Health Connection’s adult suicide prevention initiative to promote engagement in Wisconsin’s Gun Shop Project and Safe Storage Program, called Live Today – Put it Away.

Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program

“The Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs (WDVA) designed the ​Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP) to connect veterans to community services and provide case management and support, with a special focus on treatment and recovery” (WDVA, 2023).


Employment opportunities

“The Department of Workforce Development (DWD), is committed to advancing employment opportunities for Wisconsin veterans through targeted business engagement and service and commitment to the veteran community” (DWD, 2023).


Operation Dental Care

“Operation Dental Care addresses the dental care needs of area veterans who do not have private dental insurance and do not meet eligibility requirements for dental care through the Department of Veterans Affairs” (Tri-County Dental, 2023).


TAPS

TAPS is the national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to all those grieving a death in the military or veteran community” (TAPS, 2024).
