Thank you to all who have been supporters this year and in years past! Your compassion has allowed us to assist nearly 2,000 local military veteran families in need since 2011!
This year, we've seen a surge in calls, emails, applications, and the need for financial assistance. We have already financially assisted and or connected over 400 local veteran families to additional resources and opportunities! With all of December still left.
This assistance is critical, and the impact is often invisible to our community. Yet, it prevents homelessness, reduces hopelessness, increases well-being, and has a generational impact on veterans, their families, and our community. This assistance helps provide timely HOPE.
HOPE because the Veteran Family now has a path out of living at a local campground, and working towards securing an apartment.
HOPE because the elderly Veteran couple is now able to receive critical maintenance on their only vehicle so they don't have to walk to get groceries or medication.
HOPE because the Veteran mother fleeing domestic violence can now live in a new home because the security deposit and 2 months' rent were covered.
HOPE knowing that their military veteran brothers and sisters and the community have their back to lend a helping hand during a time of need.
With your help, we will continue to meet the significant need for the rest of 2023, start 2024 off strong, and help even more veteran families during their time of need.
